Book Review-PAWSitively Sinister (A Klepto Cat Mystery Book 11)-Patricia Fry

Thursday, June 18, 2015

OH how I love this series!! Another cozy mystery featuring Rags the resident Klepto cat and boy does he ever save the day in this episode! I admit freely I was scared there a couple of times--would Rags and Koko be okay? This one is filled to the brim with spirits (and not the friendly kind), dead bodies and lots of jewelry. Will the humans be able to get to the bottom of what is going on in that old mansion? Read it to find out!!

About the Book: (from Amazon)

The Ivey family travel to San Francisco to help Arthur and his long-time friend, Suzette, clean out the mansion. News of the massive estate sale lures a variety of people, including former residents and long-ago visitors, each carrying stories of bizarre activities occurring there in the past.

When the klepto cat, Rags and his pawtner Koko make some ghastly and ghostly discoveries, everyone goes into research mode and they’re stunned by what they uncover - evidence of people gone missing, a treasure-trove of loot, and spirits unable to rest.

This is by far the most PAWSitively Sinister story in the series.

Wow, how interesting! So, the book is written in the view of the cat? What a different concept, I bet this book must be a great read :) Thanks so much for the great review!

Thanks Michelle for the great review. And I appreciate seeing all of the cool comments from your followers. Yes, Rags (the cat) does find himself in a serious situation in this story--well, in most of the stories. But this one even had me on the edge of my seat as I was writing it.

I wanted to respond to the comment asking if the book is written in the view of the cat. No it isn't. It is human-driven and the cats are normal cats doing cat-like things (no talking cats). Rags just happens to be a bit out of the ordinary, but still a cat, mind you.

There are 11 books in the series now. Choose one and give it a try. I think you'll enjoy the journey.
