Book Review-The Symbolon: The Sibylline Trilogy (The Oracles Book 2)- Delia J. Colvin

Monday, November 24, 2014

You definitely have to read this series in order!! Book 2 continued seamlessly with more twists and turns then a Greek Tragedy! But then of course immortals are kind of known for that. There came a point in this book where I was enthralled-I could not believe what was happening and my throat was in my mouth several times. Who is friend and who is foe? And as in any good Greek Mythology there is someone in the background trying to cause lots of trouble and involving others in the scheme. The ending sets you up for the next in the series which thankfully I already have in my possession or I would be screaming Noooo. So until I can read the 3rd in the series and review it for you all--start reading this series--do soul mates ever have it easy?

About the Book (from Amazon)

Can love defy fate?

The Symbolon, is the passionate second novel of The Sibylline Trilogy that weaves Greek mythology with a modern tale of eternal love!

For 3000 years, Alex has dreamed of a life with his symbolon, his mortal soul mate. But when they approach the ancient council of immortals for approval of their marriage, they discover that sinister forces object to their union. Soon, they are faced with terrifying threats, including a devastating separation that neither may survive.

THE SIBYLLINE TRILOGY - a love more enduring than life...than death...than destiny.

Hmm. Is there really any such thing as a soul mate? This sounds like an interesting read as I know little about Greek mythology.
