Book Review-The Sibylline Oracle: The Sibylline Trilogy (The Oracles Book 1)- Delia J. Colvin

Monday, November 17, 2014

Cassandra, the favorite oracle of the Greek God Apollo, was promised to her soul mate for eternity. Unfortunately Aegemon had other ideas and Cassandra drowned while her soul mate, also an oracle and thus immortal tried to save her----Cassandra did not make it--but she kept reincarnating.

Alex, hears that she is back and rushes to NY to attempt to save her once again. Alex, mind you, has been trying for 3000 years! But there isn't much time! Will he be able to convince Valeria (her current name) or somehow prod her ancient memory. She always dies on her 27th birthday--that is a couple of days away--will Alex and the small band of immortals be able to save her?

This is a series and I do suggest you read them in order. I have not started the next 2 books but have them on my Kindle and you will be seeing my reviews. What an interesting combination of ancient history with modern times!!

This sounds a lot like the tv series Witches of East End, which was just cancelled. I am pretty bummed about that, so I may have to pick up these books for a good substitute!
