Have you ever had a friend that you really wanted the relationship to be more then friends but were afraid you might lose that person ultimately if you acted on it? Jayla Stone and Rush Remington have been friends since forever. They each know everything about the other one. Jayla has loved Rush since the beginning but Rush --well men do not always see what is right in front of their nose! She knew about all the women he had been with etc.-and him being a single Remington-there were a lot. Until the day that Rush woke up and realized he loved Jayla. Of course he stopped his womanizing ways!

Both Jayla and Rush were competitive skiers. Jayla, who had won an Olympic Medal, was trying to hide the fact that she was in a lot of pain--she had hurt her shoulder again--she was bound and determined to compete this one last time. Yes, Jayla is one strong, determined and stubborn chick! Rush was worried but knew enough to allow her one last time-not that he had a choice!

Plenty of action and subplots in this one and of course a happily ever after! I think this might me my favorite Braden (Remington) book so far.

NEWLY RELEASED........

Book #4 The Remingtons, Love in Bloom Series #13

Olympic gold medalist skiers Jayla Stone and Rush Remington have been best friends for years. They’ve seen each other at their best and worst and have kept each other’s secrets without fail. Only there’s one secret Rush has kept close to his chest. After months of introspection, Rush realizes he’s been filling his bed but not tending to his heart. He’s changed his womanizing ways, and the only woman who can fill his heart has been right by his side all this time.

Years of intimate conversations and the sharing of hopes and dreams collide when Rush reveals his secret, and one toe-curling kiss changes everything between Rush and Jayla. They’re no match for the passion that kiss ignites, or the pull of true love. But being Rush’s best friend means knowing all about his revolving bedroom door—and Jayla has a secret of her own that could jeopardize her career and her relationship with Rush. Even their love may not be enough to overcome Rush’s past or secure Jayla’s future.

THE REMINGTONS are the newest addition to the LOVE IN BLOOM series

Sounds like a really lovely plot! I haven't read a book for 40 days now and it's time to do some bedside reading. I will get a copy and really with May in full bloom, romance novels are as good as they can get!

Thank you for sharing!

My husband and I were friends first, and when he tried to kiss me one day, I was in shock. To me, it has always been "friends are friends" and someone who is attracted to you should say it from the start, but attraction can be born because of a friendship. Sounds like a great story!

I've read your reviews about the other books in the series, and this one sounds just as good. :)

I've been seeing posts for Melissa's book and almost jumped on the bandwagon as well, but my TBR is just too high for the moment. Will keep an eye out for this one though.

I like how all the covers in a series have similar looks. Really well done. sounds like some fun reading!

It's funny how often relationships come from friendships and seemingly out of nowhere. My boyfriend and I have been together 6.5 years now and we were close friends for about six months and then within about 2 weeks we went from strictly just friends to actually dating.

This sounds like a great romance series. My husband and I were friends before I realized he wanted more. :)

For some reason I love series books and I love curling up with a good romance novel so these would be books that interest me.

I'm not a huge book reader, in fact I'm not much of a reader but this series sounds very interesting.

I love romance novels! They are my absolute favorite genre and this one sounds so very relateable (except for the gold medals, of course!). I'm going to put this on my summer reading list.

I've never read any of these, so I don't have a favorite, but I'm always interested in starting new book series :)

Nicely written review. It sounds like it has an interesting story line. I do prefer more wholesome romance stories personally. Take care! :)
