Guylian Chocolates--A Review

Monday, October 24, 2011

I was so surprised today--Guylian Chocolate was delivered to my door!! Not from a Secret Sister or Secret Santa and I knew I hadn't bought any-----it was from the company itself!! I vaguely remember entering something--but obviously promptly forgot about it!! And YES I have already eaten 2 pieces of this fine Belgium Chocolate!! OH how I love Truffles and these with a slight hazelnut tasting filling is melt in your mouth heaven! And the Seahorse Design is so cute!! In another package there are some sea shell ones as well--12 pieces of chocolate truffles-I am in HEAVEN.

This is their story in their own words from their website where you will have to go in order to see a pic of these!!

The Guylian Story
Guy Foubert was a passionate Belgian Chocolatier making handmade chocolate truffles in
Sint-Niklaas, Belgium. In 1958, Guy and Liliane joined their names, both in marriage
and in their company name creating Chocolaterie Guylian; a small, artisanal
chocolate maker. Today, Guylian crafts the finest authentic Belgian
chocolate truffles, selling them to chocolate lovers in Belgium and in more
than 100 countries across the world.

Guylian Artisanal Belgian Chocolates

Guylian Artisanal Belgian Chocolates provide the ultimate experience for chocolate lovers. Each luxurious chocolate seashell is marbled with 100% pure, silky smooth milk, dark or white Belgian chocolate. Our irresistible seashell chocolates are filled with a rich, decadent, and luxuriously creamy chocolate truffle; the original handmade recipe of Guy & Liliane. Our signature truffle recipe is still
made in small-batch copper kettles exclusively by Guylian's Master Chocolatiers in Sint-Niklaas, Belgium.

We invite you to share and slowly savour a better chocolate experience.

And they also support Seahorses which is why the cuties that I just devoured were created

Guylian has been the major sustaining sponsor of Project
Seahorse since 1999 donating more than $1.5 million.

Project Seahorse

This organization is committed to conservation and sustainable use of the world’s coastal marine ecosystems. Saving the seahorses means saving our seas!
