Katz Jewelers-with some words from Phyllis

Monday, May 23, 2011

Well, my friend Phyllis finally wrote up something about what they really can do for you--this can also be found on the info tab of their face book page I will give you a little of the history as I remember it--Katz Jewelers was originally started and owned by Phyllis' father-a master watch repairman--he taught Mark and Jess (Mark's brother). I don't know if he taught them how to repair and make Jewelry

but Mark excels at it (just ask my Mom!!). Phyllis is the stringer of beads and pearls

and the person who knows just how to pick out the most beautiful Jewelry some of which you can see when you go to their facebook page.
(UH OH--I want this one!!!)
If you live or work in NYC you are lucky cause you can actually go and visit them at the store. If you leave Grand Central Station via the MetLife Bldg (at the rear) and you cross the street--turn right--then on your left (a very short walk) is some stairs--walk up the stairs --they are right next to the revolving doors to get into the building--237 Park Ave. Tell them Michele sent you!! And if you know anyone who lives or works down there please send them there as well!! I would really appreciate it if you would go to their facebook page and like it!! And now a few words from Phyllis!!

Too bad you're so far away...BF has a very expensive watch that stopped working on him a few months ago and he still has not fixed it. I would love to get it fixed for him, will have to find out where he's hidden it.

I love the pieces above especially the last one, just beautiful!
