While most of us are stuck inside for a while, it’s the perfect time to start something new with the family. A bit ago Katrina from Top Notch Material started a murder mystery called Hunt a Killer, and it’s addicting. Check out Katrina’s review and what she thought. She’s giving one lucky winner 1 box to start off with and then a $50 gift card to go towards the rest of the boxes. (trust me you will want to continue with more boxes to finish to solve the murder).
Sponsored by Hunt a Killer Hosted by Top Notch Material
Now this looks very interesting! Can you solve the mystery and figure out who the killer is? Sounds like family fun for all! Read the review then come back and enter!!
The first episode/box just gives you the laydown. There is a theme of course. For Katrina’s theme it was the class of Ninety-Eight. Charlie was murdered in his car after his class reunion and well, we have to find out who did it. You get some information, a letter from the Sherriff, yearbook, accident scene, some witness statements etc.

ReplyDeleteMy husband and I did our first murder mystery party long before my three daughters were born (the youngest just turned 29). We've done several from boxed games over the years and I have attended several with my daughters more recently (dinner and murder mystery at a beautiful Victorian B&B not far from us and another at a restaurant that had a big hall that was filled with all the attendees) I LOVE them!

ReplyDeleteI have watched other people do a murder mystery, but never my own! I would love to buy new books as I miss the smell of pages and the sound of coffee whirring in Barnes and Nobles (I usually go there to read for a couple hours). Now that I’m quarantined, I’m thankful to your amazing blog for this opportunity to get some new books (and maybe recycle them to other people as well!)
ReplyDeleteI haven't yet, but it's on my bucket list! There is a murder mystery train a few hours from here that does this and they also serve you a 3-course meal. I want to try it!

ReplyDeleteI've never done a murder mystery, but have always been intrigued by it. Agatha Christy's Ten Little Indians was a Cleveland Playhouse play with plenty of murders. Cozy Mysteries is one of my favorite genres.
