By now I am sure you know how much I love this series--but then I love all animals big and small. Some people just don't get how smart some animals can be--or how mischievous. I mean really--my cat, Baby, watched me intensely for a week or two and now wakes me up by turning on mt desk lamp--it is the kind that has to be turned on from the top by turning it--we won't talk about the kitchen cabinets and drawers that hit me in the shins because someone has opened them!! I just hope she hasn't learned to read--cause she would attempt to do what Rags does--I'm sure of it!!
Michael, Savannah, Gladys (Savannah's Mom) and the baby all go to Hawaii on vacation-they were invited to go because Savannah won 2nd place in a photography contest. They mostly have a great time--except when Savannah is threatened when she catches a picture of a homeless Island guy by accident-she was trying to get a picture of a flower! They saved a kitten. Then Savannah realized that someone had copied their home address from her luggage tag just as they were getting ready to leave.
They get home and all seems to be okay until Savannah goes to look for a pair of earrings--Meanwhile Colbi's brother shows up and all kinds of trouble occur--then a homeless pregnant girl shows up at their doorstep looking for the suitcase. Savannah takes her in and some of the pieces begin to fall into place.
Rags has hidden some very important evidence------and a neighbors dog who happens to look like a wolf-but is really a sweetheart- is scaring the neighbors some of them using their shot guns indiscriminately.
I loved the ending--you are never going to guess who stopped the real bad guys!!!!!!! And it isn't Rags------
