Yes I changed jobs because the place I was at was closing down in a year or so and I knew it would get difficult and it did, I was glad I changed jobs when I did.

ReplyDeleteYes, I changed jobs because someone accused me of something I did not do. I never found out who it was. It was after my boss & friend retired. I worked at this job for 10 years & was only making around $6.00 an hour back in the late 70's so I started looking for another job & it was the best move I ever made.

ReplyDeleteYes, I just changed jobs for this very reason. I was promoted but it was during the height of the pandemic when everyone had just transitioned to work from home. I was not trained due to this, and worst of all, they fired the one person who was supposed to assist me learning the ropes of my new position. The stress of trying to figure out everything on my own got to me and made the position not worth it in the end, so I found a different job a few months ago.

ReplyDeleteYep. I demoted myself. I was a customer service supervisor and management wanted to fire someone but couldn't really give cause and since she was in my department they wanted me to fire her. So, I said I would rather not and got push back so I demoted myself to cust svc rep and let someone else do it. And yep, she sued them and won. So stupid.
ReplyDeleteI have mostly changed my job because of a better opportunity that came up for me. Either a job that was more fit for me or a better salary or closer to home.

I changed job from being a waitress to an office job. Being around the smoke (smoking was allowed at the time I was working) was making me sick.
