ReplyDeleteA year ago, my son had a skiing accident and he recovered well. However, he did not attempt to try to ski, until this past week. He decided to go with his longtime friend and, I am happy he did. He said it felt weird at first, but eventually, it felt like old times. This made me so happy because he began skiing at age 4 and has loved it. Being on the slopes, makes him so happy. :)

ReplyDeleteMy boyfriend was having trouble getting his blood sugar under control for the last few days. He has diabetes and was ill do it made his blood sugars even higher. He was feeling pretty crappy from it. Today, they came down to normal levels and he was feeling much better.

ReplyDeleteMy son had a rocky start this school year. He was hating school and it showed in his grades and how he hated going every day. Right before the holiday break he turned it around and brought his grades way up. He is happier and enjoying school now, which is such a relief to me.

ReplyDeleteMy oldedst daughter got engaged right before Christmas, and yesterday she and her fiance moved into the cabin beside the pool! I'm so excited, and so happy to have her close. Her fiance starts work tomorrow where my husband works and will be making great money. It's all just so exciting!

ReplyDeleteSomething that made me happy was finally getting to celebrate my birthday (it was on the 5th) by going out to dinner with family and friends on the 16th. There were 13 of us total at the tepenyaki restaurant, we took up both sides of the table. It was a blast.

ReplyDeleteMy best friend and I (like, the bestest of my life) had a major falling out three years ago and stopped contact 100%. The past few months her absence was especially unbearable, so I tracked her down and we worked it out and have resumed our friendship like nothing ever happened. I'm so happy to have her back in my life.

ReplyDelete@Holly Thomas, I'm so glad to hear your cat came home. I have strays that I put food out for daily and I worry so much about them in bad weather. I have tried to bring one in, at least at night, to sleep, but she doesn't get along with my other cats. The other stray will not let me near it. If I even step outside, he darts under the fence and takes off. I've been feeding them both for at least 3 years & he just doesn't like/trust me. But I still love him!! Lol!!

Something that has happened lately that was wonderful was my husband got a new job.
