Ever since I was a little girl--many many moons ago--I have loved and eaten yogurt. Strangely enough my Mom does not but she wanted me to try all different foods even if she would not. Then they came out with Greek style yogurt--rich, creamy and oh so satisfying. I have been buying various brands up until now--but after what I just consumed for dinner (I had a relatively large lunch)--I'm sold on Chobani Greek Yogurt. I bought a few of them the other day with the coupons I was sent and the first one I ate was one with raspberry (on the bottom) which has always been my favorite yogurt flavor (actually any berry will do it for me). But I also bought--are you ready for this--
I felt almost as if I was eating pumpkin cheesecake New York Style!! I have one more waiting for me-Chobani Greek Yogurt Flip Key Lime.
They have a lot of recipes on the site and one of them I think I might try with the pumpkin harvest instead of strawberry. Actually I bet if you just bought those little graham cracker crusts (that come 6 to a package) scooped in the Pumpkin Harvest Yogurt and froze for an hour or so-it would be a great little and healthy treat. (Whipped cream on top anyone?-or maybe stir into the yogurt before freezing).
If you go to their website there is a wealth of information about the company, it's history, the ingredients (they really keep everything pure-no gmo's here or antibiotics in the cows milk-, their foundation. And even though I live very near NYC I had no idea they had an actual store/restaurant in SoHo!!
They have a large variety of products-click here to see them all and one of them has really caught my eye but I have not seen it in the stores-Chobani Oats. I will be searching for that one-for those of you who need to be careful--it is GLUTEN FREE.
Chobani Greek Yogurt is definitely going to be the yogurt I pick up from now on. If you haven't tried it-you really should-you don't know what you're missing!! There is a store locator on their site--but I know all the stores near me sell it!

Chobani is about the only yogurt my daughter will eat! Granted even though she is almost 21 she still likes the "kiddie" yogurt but this is the only "adult" yogurt she has really liked, AND ASKED FOR by name!
ReplyDeletePersonally I am strange about yogurt, sometimes I absolutely crave it, but if not craving it I do not care much for it.
Regardless, Chobani is something we often have in our home!
