We all love out furry little bundles of love--no matter how much they try to drive us crazy as my cat Baby does to me. She is a worrier. She worries when her food is 3 minutes late in arriving in its designated place. She worries and becomes a total nuisance if I happen to get a phone call. The worst is when she is in the living room and I am on the computer --she meows piteously until I go in and carry her into the bedroom. Yes, she is spoiled and she makes sure she stays that way But the absolute worst is when I don't clean her litter out promptly--She tries to clean it herself thus I have litter all over my bathroom floor which I then must clean up in addition to her litter. She is not a dumb cat--she smiles as she watches me clean.
(This is the position I get into to show my craziness that Mom won't do what she is supposed to do when I want her to!)
When I was asked by the people who made the Neater Scooper if I would like to try it out--I jumped on it. Anything to make that job easier!! I was really surprised how quickly it arrived at my door--literally in one day. The unit (which is plastic) was securely wrapped in lots of bubble wrap. I immediately opened the box. It came with several packages of the mini plastic bags which you use. Now I had more or less just gotten home and Baby's litter definitely needed cleaning. It took me a few (remember that I am a klutz and it would have helped if I had read the instructions!)but I finally figured out how to open the unit so I could put a bag in. It is a pretty tight fit so I really had to exert a bit of muscle. Once I knew how it was--easy as pie! I stuck the little bag in the unit-closed it back up and headed for the litter box. As you can see on the picture above there is a scooper-what you can't see is the trap door that opens and shuts. You scoop--let it fall into the bag. Scoop again-when in the scoop position the trap door shuts again so nothing falls out. Then all you have to do is pull the unit apart-tie up the little bag dispose of it put the unit back together or wash the scoop. They do sell refill bags on the site. You are ready again-----In case I just confused you this is from the site.

That's one of the things I dislike about cats - they 'go' in the house. I guess with a gadget like this it would make it a little more tolerable.

ReplyDeleteI learned about the polar bowl. It is a bowl that you put in the freezer and then fill with water and it keeps your pets water fresh and cold. I learned that cold water is best for pets because it promotes proper hydration. I plan on buying one of these for my kitty.
