Review/Giveaway-CarPET Scratch Stopper-US only-Ends 1/23/15

Cats are NOT owned--WE are their servants-just ask any one of them! We all LOVE our cats--but there are some things that cats do that can drive us slowly out of our minds. Take mine for instance. Baby is usually a sweet and loving kitty until I forget all the training I have received at her paws. For instance--do NOT come home late or I will hear a loud and indignant meow and my ankles are gently nipped if I dare to go near the outside door again. More then 2 clumps in the litter box? Suddenly I hear her scratching--cleaning it out by herself--not the clumps mind you--but suddenly there is lots of litter surrounding her litter box which obviously I then have to clean up while she sits watching me--smiling--. See the chair that Baby is lying down upon looking so innocent? She uses that as a scratching post. And before you say anything-YES she has a real scratching post which she does use occasionally. This was all accomplished before I realized what she was up to and it was too late to get plastic covers of some sort. Oh well----

Talking about cats and scratching--how is your carpet doing--you know the places--those spots in front of the doors which you close occasionally? I don't have this problem since I have been well trained to leave all doors open at all times-(not the front door)-thankfully I am single and live alone! For whatever reason, cats DO NOT LIKE nor do they approve of closed doors. Heavens only knows what their human is up to--and they are bound and determined to find out. So as they attempt to open that pesky obstruction that we call a door they virtually shred the carpeting!! For those of you who really need to close doors there is a solution! And it a whole lot more affordable then replacing carpet!

And there is even a video you can watch Click here

And they tell you how to measure your doorways to get the perfect fit as well as answer other questions you may have Click Here They come in sizes 28", 30" or 32".

And here is where you can purchase your very own CarPET Scratch Stopper or two or three--at $24.95 a piece you at least will be happy (not so much your cat!)

  9. I have a cat. He doesn't care about doors. He never uses his claws on furniture or carpet. The only thing he uses his claws on are boxes, he shreds them!

  14. They really aren't afraid to speak their mind, are they? Cats are not shy about their feelings!

    ReplyDelete
  15. That's awesome! Under the door where she "lives" at night is the only spot we haven't managed to get her to stop scratching! :)

  16. I only have one obstinate little princess to contend with but she is like have 3 or 4 cats, she claws my carpets,my furniture that once looked brand new looks scratched and shredded and I cover my chairs with coats, towels, anything I can hang on them, not to mention my window sills she likes to lay in and wakes up clawing, and she claws the back of my couch, which is fabric not wood.so yes I'd like to try this,I didn't have the heart to de-claw her but my house is paying for it.

  17. Cats! They have such personalities! I have always grown up with dogs but my husband had cats... of course we compromised and got a dog! I wanted to get a cat also but I don't think our pug would have got along. But surprisingly pugs scratch a lot like cats and used their paws more than their mouths, it's funny to see them acting so much like a cat... a clumsy one albeit! This could come in helpful for us too!

  18. This is such an ingenious idea, and something I could really use with 5 cats. My poor carpets in our upstairs hallway. They have been through hell with one of our cats. In front of every bedroom door is a ripped carpet. Sigh. She's lucky I love her.

  19. Glad to know there's a great way to fix this kind of problem in a carpet.

  42. We just adopted a kitty last night. We don't have any carpet in our house, so I fear for our furniture!! I read the page about declawing on the Carpet Scratch Stopper site. It's sad and makes me realize that I don't want to do that to our little guy.

  55. What a great idea! Thankfully our adult cat, Marbles, only scratches on his scratch board. Our newest addition, who we found on the side of the road, (I call her Mistress Pickle Puss for the sour face she gives me right before letting out her screams when I've been gone for a while lol) does scratch on the carpet some, but it's not by the doors, it's right in the middle of the room where she gets the most attention! I'll find something for her. Until then, I'll pass this along to my kitty-loving friends!

  56. It is supposed to stop carpet scratching instantly. I have a carpeted step that our cats have destroyed.

    ReplyDelete
  57. This would definitely help in my house! We have two cats who always want to be on the opposite side of any closed door. I'd like to be able to shut my bedroom door at night sometimes to keep them out, but they destroy the carpet when I try. This would be a great solution. Thanks for the giveaway!

This is a wonderful product that I'd love to have as we just purchaed a new home and this would be amazing to put at the bedroom door when it's closed to keep the carpets looking new and nice. Thanks for the Chsnce to win. I've got a quirky but smart kitty. When he does somethig wrong and you tell him he's bad he runs into a crate like a dog.....when he comes out he acts all sweet and does a funny little chirpy meow so you don't fuss at him....
