Yes, there is all kinds of nefarious goings on in this series including murders that have to be solved and I am loving every one of them. I also find myself laughing at the antics of Madison and her best friend Fabiana. Madison wants her PI license--she has already managed to get her concealed weapon permit--her boyfriend is NOT a happy camper about all this-nor is her big brother. Now Mom--that is a different story. Other then trying to get her two children married off so she can be a grandmother--she is truly a pistol. I felt Madison's pain when her Mom pulled her "Because I'm your mother-that's why" routine.
Madison still owns the hotel that her Aunt left her in her will with all the same crazy characters living there as in the prior books in this series which I really think you should read. Book 1-- Crazy in Paradise Book 2 Deception in Paradise and there is going to be a book 4 in this series which I will be reading and reviewing!!!!!!

What is big news in small town Tarpon Cove? An accidental drowning or perhaps a ruthless murder? When a dead fisherman rolls up on shore, Madison cannot resist jumping into her new role as Private Investigator. But she soon discovers the people in The Cove who normally gossip about everybody's business are unusually tight-lipped.
The bad tenant radar still not working, the cottages continue to be full of riffraff. Madison gets arrested, shot at, and outsmarted. She teams up with her best friend – the Glock carrying Fabiana. Together they take on cases no other investigators would ever touch!
Trouble in Paradise, is the third novel in Deborah Brown's Paradise series, can be read as a stand alone book.
"'Trouble' is captivating from the first paragraph. The stories are a true adventure!" - review from Amazon
"This book continues the drama as it can only occur in South Florida, with a host of truly fun, unique characters." - Author Kim Cano

ReplyDeleteI love trying to figure out mysteries in movies, television, and books before the main characters do, and I actually have a pretty solid track record! But I've never solved a real-life mystery, which is why I think that would be the coolest thing about being a private investigator.
