I would like to thank the hosts of this hop, Planet Weidknecht and Leahsaysviews for putting it all together! This Hop will start on 11/7 at 12:15 AM and end at 11:59 on 11/17. Please do not forget to visit the other bloggers participating in this hop (list at bottom of this post)-they also have some great giveaways going on.
Because everyone loves candles whether for themselves or to give as gifts Danville Candles has once again agreed to sponsor a $25.00 Gift Certificate to be used to purchase a beautiful and fragrant candle from their Etsy Site . So if you tried before-here it is again--another chance!!
Anne Keefe, the owner, along with her husbands help hand pour these candles. The labels she has chosen are elegant and will go with any decor. The Danville Candles website has recently been updated-I have been given permission to copy/paste some of the information below.
Here is a little intro written by Anne about her newest venture (remember she is also the owner of Eclipse Spa and Healing Hands)Healing Hands was created by Anne, a former health care worker who was suffering from dry cracked skin from constant washing. You all know how much I love Eclipse Spa products!
Danville Candles are created with domestically grown sustainable soybeans. This creates the cleanest burning candle and superior level of fragrance throw. Cotton wicks provide a pure and clean flame. Danville Candles are not only created using environmentally friendly materials but they do not pollute your home. We have carefully chosen only organic essential oils or essential blends for our Aromatherapy line of candles and all other Fragrances are phthalate free.
As a young girl I loved burning candles and could often be found playing church with the candles on my make believe alter. This inspired my parents to purchase a candle-making kit for Christmas one year. We would take a empty wine bottle and with the bottle cutter we could make our own candle container for the wax. Back then, the wax was paraffin and not enough research was available about the toxicity of these candles. Today, we have many wonderful choices in vegetable waxes to choose from.
As an adult, I love the ambiance that burning candles brings to any room including the best part, the scent. I was inspired several years ago to start making candles again after taking a candle-making class.
We are proud to use only natural, kosher and GMO Free soy wax. Soy wax is produced from soybeans, a renewable resource supporting American farmers. It is water-soluble, so it cleans up easily with soap & water in case you spill the wax. Most of the time its me spilling wax!
Each Fragrance is carefully chosen and are Phthalate Free. Hand poured and richly scented, our candles are a ready-to-go gift for someone special or a special gift for yourself! For a list of the Fall and Holiday Fragrances Available click in here. Anne is always coming up with new and exciting fragrances for the different seasons so you really have to keep on looking!
Certified Organic Essential Oil Candles (available in black gift boxes)Essential Oils that are used in these candles along with their properties can be found here
