Once Upon a Read-a-Thon--Can I read 7 books in 3 Days?-I DID IT!!!!

It's OVER and I actually completed what I set out to do in the fourth annual Once Upon a Read-a-Thon hosted by Lori at Pure Imagination, Angela & Loretta at Reading Angels and Candace's Book Blog. I did not however enter any of the mini challenges--between mystery shopping, bookkeeping client and commenting on others posts------BUT I really read 7 Books in 3 days!! My next personal challenge to myself is to actually put reviews of these books up on Amazon and Goodreads.

First off I'd like you to know that these were books that I got because I really wanted to read them--except for one of them which I did say I would put a review up on my blog-they came from my TBR list and I can honestly say I enjoyed every one of them whether it was a short novella or a full length novel. AND except for the the book I will be reviewing on my blog--I read them all on my computer--my poor eyes and back!! There are actually 8, but one was so short (Free Fall)I felt guilty--

To Catch a Bad Guy - Mary Astor (I really enjoyed this one!!)

Desperate Measures - Candace Hern (if you like Regency Romance this is short and sweet!)

Free Fall-A Prelude to Hidden Order - Brad Thor (I think I may end up reading the full book on this one)

Rational Polemics - Richard Todd Devens (I will be reviewing this one on my blog)

The Taming of Ryder Cavanaugh (a Cynster Novel)- Stephanie Laurens (I LOVE ALL of the Cynster novels!!)

Kidnapped - Christina Dodd (This was a really good read--short and would be perfect for a read on the beach!)

All for Hope - Olivia Hardin ( A feel good book with a heartwarming ending)

Jane's Melody - Ryan Winfield ( A love story you won't want to miss)

  3. There is no way I could do that with 2 toddlers. Probably not anyway. I am not a very fast reader though I love to read. The best I've done is to read a thick book (like Harry Potter or Twilight) in about 3 days.

  19. 7 books in 3 days, that is impressive. I am surprised you had time for anything else. I would love to have an entire day uninterrupted to curl up with a good book. Three days- I am jealous.
