However, during weekends, I make the crockpot take a break and cook other meals in a stock pot. That single cup coffee maker thing is pretty neat. I have a french press that I am very thankful to have since my iCoffee decided to stop pumping water through it. :(

As for your chicken soup comment, I personally could eat homemade chicken soup (or ANY homemade soup!) for 5 days straight - breakfast, lunch, AND dinner. I'm not sure the rest of the family would agree though. ;)Jess Benoithttp://dailydealsfromanerdmom.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5539168354110016201.post-70282739664712096282016-01-02T11:39:37.320-05:002016-01-02T11:39:37.320-05:00I feel comfortable with either and use our stockpo...I feel comfortable with either and use our stockpot on lazy stay at home days and our crockpot n those days that we have little time to get it all doneannies homehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14583996787641143024noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5539168354110016201.post-64727022625917598742016-01-02T11:06:00.170-05:002016-01-02T11:06:00.170-05:00I usually use my stock pot when cooking. The crock pot is nice, but it tends to cook things into a mushy consistency which can be the goal, but if I'm making something stovetop it takes less time and I think the meal has a better firmness to it.
