The neighbor, a prominent author, and a very wealthy one, has been murdered. There are many people who could be the culprit-including his adult children. The real killer is someone you will never expect! Ella and the lead detective literally question anyone who could be a suspect-and there really are a lot of them.

About the Book: (from Amazon)

It
It’s said that everyone has their price. What’s yours?

That’s the thought Ella has when she visits her cousin in Toronto hours after a famous author living next door to her, Howard Ross, was murdered.

A lot of people could profit from the author’s death. His publisher and his children certainly would, and the author’s romantic interest and his bitter literary foe might likewise benefit.

His mansions, money, and publishing rights would certainly make him a likely target for murder, if someone would profit enough from doing it. But what happens during the many years subsequent to the author’s death? The years when his print books, eBooks, audiobooks, and other merchandise will continue to sell. Who will own those valuable rights? That’s where the real money lies, and his will should certainly spell it out, shouldn’t it? That would certainly be worth murdering for, wouldn’t it?

Join Ella and her new friend, Toronto Homicide Detective Hanger, as they struggle to figure out who has the most to gain from the author’s death.

No I wouldn't.

Besides, if I had gotten that much money, I think my friends and family would have guilted me into spending most of it on them anyway.

No, I would not.

I don't want to be around people who are fake to get favors from people who have a lot of money.
