Would or could a mother murder her own daughter? Everly is a lawyer who has problems with her own family but she has to keep focused on this case. It was definitely difficult with lots of twists and turns. All the circumstantial evidence pointed to the mother's guilt. The truth is found out and it somehow is the same that almost happened to Everly personally.

Her assistant kept her spirits up and her boyfriend really helped a lot! I did love how this novel ended--and so will you!

About the Book: (from Amazon)

Everly's life has been far from easy. She is involved in a tragic family case, only this time, it's very similar to her own…

When a famous writer, Charlotte Cardinien, is murdered in her home, no one expects the accused would be her mother. But Everly isn’t afraid of social outcry and is determined to prove her client’s innocence.

Her only hope is to find out what really happened, but it won't be easy—especially if someone is trying to stop her from getting at the truth…
