Book Review- Magnetic Reverie (The Reverie Book 1) -Nico J. Genes

Admittedly this book was somewhat hard for me to follow. It takes you from reality to dreamland and back again. Lana was having dreams that returned every time she fell asleep at night. She was happily married to a great guy and loved her life--but the dream had her loving someone else. She couldn't get the dream out of her head. Then something happened-which you will not know until later on-and Lana stays with her dream lover for approx 10 days. She does start feeling guilty about her husband back in reality and decides to go back to him. She awakens and is back in reality--but still can not forget the person in her dream. She decides to take a trip to her homeland to see if she can find this person--Does she find her? There is a second book in this series which will let us all know.

The author sent me a mobi edition of this book for entertainment purposes and for a possible review.

About the Book: (from Amazon)

Have you ever had a dream which was so vivid and intense that you felt it simply had to be real? A dream which made you forget about your current reality?

Lana lives a perfect life in Washington, D.C., with her husband, Greg. Right in the middle of a peaceful and simple life, she awakens from a dream that reveals to her a new reality that questions the very essence of who she is.

Enter Claire, a beautiful young woman who Lana is supposedly in a relationship with.

Meandering between Slovenia while sleeping and Washington, D.C., while awake, this love story makes Lana evolve and grow.

But a decision must be made. Love wins in the end, undoubtedly, but love for whom?

Magnetic Reverie is the first book from The Reverie series but can be read as standalone too.

About the Author: (from Amazon)

Nico J. Genes has traveled and worked with many interesting and unique people of different nationalities, religions, and sexual orientations, all of whom helped her to understand diversity and to accept everyone just as they are.

With her first two novels, "Magnetic Reverie" and "Reverie Girl", she broke the ice into writing successfully. From her readers' feedback and reviews, Nico can proudly say she has a solid confirmation of her skills as an established writer. An important element of her writing is that she always has a message that she wants to transmit. This can be summed up by her motto: We are all different, and that's okay!

Besides novel-writing, Nico also runs a blog in which she talks about life's issues, and gives the kind of friendly advice that everyone needs at certain points of their life. The positive feedback of her readers became her inspiration for her third book, "Lessons in Life". Continuing her mission of welcoming all diversity and pleading for tolerance and acceptance, she wrote the novel "ADHD: Life Is Beautiful", based on a true story.

Thank you so much for giving my book a chance. The sequel certainly offers answers as well as continuations of the events. Dreams may be more than they seem :)
