E-Books-3 Winners-WW-Murder at Le Bijou Bistro: Northwest Cozy Mystery #5-Dianne Harman-Ends 2/7

I loved Al De Duco in the last of the Northwest series--a criminal with a heart of gold! He has given up his life of crime and married Cassie who he had fallen head over heels in love with at first sight. They were going out with their friends Jake and DeeDee to an exclusive French Restaurant. They were both excited to announce their marriage. Because Cassie wrote a food column the restaurant reserved Table 12 for them. At the last minute Al decided he did not want to sit at that table so they were seated where he could see the door in a more secluded corner.

Next thing they know is a woman-seated at the table they were supposed to sit at is choking--then immediately dies--just after being served and eating a piece of chocolate cake. It did not go unnoticed by Al that THEY should have been seated at that table!

Who was that chocolate cake meant for? Maybe one of A's old advisary's from his Mafia days--or a woman he used to know--or was it Cassie? Lot's of suspects--and why was Cassie's daughter kidnapped?

Can they find and save Brianna (Cassie's daughter)? Who is really behind all of this and why?

I really LOVED what Al did at the end--and so will you!!

About the Book: (from Amazon)

When the wrong person's murdered, just who was the intended victim of death by chocolate cake?

Was it the retired mobster, Al De Duco? Could it have been an act of jealousy by his ex-girlfriend, Kitten Knight, or an act of revenge by Mario Carlucci, a long-time enemy of his from Al's days with the Mafia in Chicago?

Or was the intended victim Al's wife of two weeks, Cassie, the very popular food critic who writes the Food Spy column for The Seattle Times? But who would want to murder Cassie? Maybe it was Myles Lambert, the food critic she was filling in for at the Times and who was jealous of her success. Then there's the Gourmand's Guide to Good Eats food blogger, Jessica Simmons, who'd always hated Cassie. Or even the owner of Frogities Restaurant, Jules Moreau, who would love to see the bad publicity resulting from a murder at Le Bijou Bistro.

And what about the kidnapping of Briana, Cassie's daughter?

Join Jake and DeeDee as they search for a motive and a murderer!

This is Book 5 in the popular Northwest Cozy Mystery series by USA Today and Amazon Chart #1 Bestselling Author.

Yes I do pre-order books on Amazon. It is a wonderful way to stay ahead of books that may be coming out and you are interested in them or follow the author. Thanks for including Dianne Harman on your blog. robeader53(at)yahoo(dot)com

This book sounds awesome. I always like when a bad person isn't really bad or has a reason and corrects themselves. I have pre-ordered one book that my daughter had bought the #2 book from the used book store then I read the others from the library. They were so good I splurged and bought the pre-order from Amazon. As a rule I cannot afford to buy books I buy from thrift stores and borrow from the library. It is easier (less expensive as a Kindle book).

I sometimes pre-order books. It depends on if the book is offered in paperback for pre-order or if it's only in e-book format. I prefer print books but will buy e-book if that's the only option. scarletbegonia5858(at)gmail(dot)com

I typically do not preorder books! I most frequently use the library!

I have Kindle Unlimited so I read all of Dianne's books that way. I do pre-order books if they are unlikely to be offered for free via Amazon or if I suspect that the price will go up when the books are released.

I don't usually preorder books, but I might consider doing so for an author I've read and loved.
