$10 Amazon GC-WW-Bronze Fox:Rifters Book 1-Diana Green-Ends 7/12

Monday, June 22, 2015

I have read books written by Diana Green before and really enjoyed them (On the Outside and New Sion are futuristic books. Bronze Fox has a lot more fantasy along with science fiction and plenty of action.

When I first started reading this book I thought there might be a book before it--but no-this is the first in the Rifters series. It definitely picks up momentum as it goes and turned out to be a very fast read. It is a fantasy world you are taken to with portals to many other worlds. Originally I thought this might be good for teens until I got to one section--definitely read this one yourself BEFORE handing it over!!

Did I enjoy this novel--thoroughly!! And yes, I am looking forward to subsequent books in the Rifters series. Hey I want to to know how things turn out for our two portal travelers!

NEW RELEASE....

Tobias is a fox-shifter, stolen in childhood from his home-world. Now he works as an agent for the secretive and powerful sentinels, trying to bring an end to the interworld slave trade.

Etty is a street-smart spitfire from the wrong side of the tracks. She harbors untrained magical abilities and a deep longing for a better life. Can she channel these into working as Tobias’ assistant?

Will they survive a life-changing mission where love and danger are only a heartbeat away, and the fate of rift worlds hangs in the balance?

Book available from....

"The way Ms. Green weaves romance into this fascinating situation of rift travel and the amazing settings along the way, is delightful. I appreciate how the various story aspects are artfully combined to make my introduction to “rifting” purely satisfying. I’m SO ready for the next one." - review from Amazon

"Yet another good book by Diana Green. I love how you went a little Sci-fi with the portals and alternate worlds mixed in." - review from Amazon

"The plot moves at a steady pace and grabs you in right from the start." - review from Goodreads

I'm not a huge fan of fantasy, but I'm starting to realize we're basically sometimes in a fantasy world and some times these things aren't so far fetched.

I think the concept of paranormal romance is very interesting. I think that is probably why Twilight became such a popular series and films.

I don't do a lot of sci fi reading, but this one does have me interested. I am writing the title down now and may give it a go when my reading load lightens up a little.
