Book Review-MASQUERADE-Janette Rallison

Saturday, February 8, 2014

Well I finally started reading the Romance Through the Ages 7 book boxed series I purchased from Amazon for .99--and it is still .99!! The first book in the series is a Romantic Comedy which will have you happily reading and chuckling the entire time.
Sometimes it is necessary to hide some parts of your life if you want to get ahead--like the fact that you are divorced when you desperately need that Nanny position and the person you want that job from is a movie star who is also divorced and so definitely not looking for anyone new. Both of these single parents, with the help of Slade's assistant, finally realize that the truth is better and that they are made for each other! This author definitely has a sense of humor and I will be reading more of her books for sure!

About the Book: (from Amazon)

When Clarissa takes a much needed job under slightly false pretenses, she doesn't think it will be such a big deal. She may have told her movie-star boss that she was married but that shouldn't matter. After all, she doesn't want anything to do with men for a long, long time.

It's hard for a woman to keep up the masquerade when her boss is as handsome as Slade Jacobson and the job takes her to Hawaii with him. In between handling his whirlwind four-year-old daughter and dealing with a whole cast of Hollywood personalities, Clarissa has to keep a tight hold on her heart.

About the Author: (from Amazon)

Janette Rallison is old. Don't ask how old, because it isn't polite. Let's just say she's older than she'd like to be and leave it at that.

Janette lives in Chandler, Arizona with her husband, five children and enough cats to classify her as "an eccentric cat lady." She did not do this on purpose. (The cats, that is; she had the children on purpose.) Every single one of the felines showed up on its own and refuses to leave. Not even the family's fearless little Westie dog can drive them off.
Since Janette has five children and deadlines to write books, she doesn't have much time left over for hobbies. But since this is the internet and you can't actually check up to see if anything on this site is true, let's just say she enjoys dancing, scuba diving, horse back riding and long talks with Orlando Bloom. (Well, I never said he answers back.)

I purchased the entire 7 book boxed set with my own funds. All opinions expressed are my own honest opinions. For more information please check my Disclosure Statement. Our giveaways are in no way sponsored or promoted by Facebook.

This sounds like a romantic story. I'm still a sucker for a good romance, even after all these years.

Love the author bio. Shes old dont ask how old leave it at that. Cute cleaver way to do that. She seems to write romance novels but not like the harliquim ones. Iam a fan and at a dollar who can beat that price

I like that the book brings a lot funny moments, I think a good comedy can be made out of the book. Divorce is not the end of the world, just another page in the book.
