What Should I Blog About?

Thursday, June 13, 2013

I find it very hard to find topics that I can blog about. I am single and have no children. I probably could blog about my tyrant cat some more-----she has been having temper tantrums lately---I guess I could join up with one of the groups of bloggers who have challenges but then a lot of those topics have to do with children or family life. So, what’s a blogger to do? I could research the internet for topics that interest me I am one of those go to people if you need something researched or if you need the answer to an obscure or not so obscure question. So I’m sitting here thinking—please note that I am actually afraid to get up-Baby has so far today drawn blood on my leg and my eyebrow!!
(I am writing this on Sunday by the way.) She really is in a bad mood and I can’t figure out why and no amount of research is going to answer this question!

Other then what you usually find on my blog (book reviews, diabetes related, giveaways) what would you like to see me write about. If you have any suggestions please write a comment and let me know! I was doing reviews of sites and guest posts and actually getting paid a little for them—but then Google and their Penguin stopped that cold. Please note I really do not like to do many product reviews mainly because I do not need or want most of the products out there, and besides I still can’t figure out how to get pictures from my cell phone into my desktop—At 62 I have more stuff then you could ever imagine—as a matter of fact I have been trying to figure out how or where to get rid of a lot of it!!

All suggestions gratefully received!!

I would love to know more about your family history or you can do what I do sometimes and blog about whatever you are thinking about.

Hi MikiHope,
I am also single and have no children. I blog about my hobbies and interests, share pictures etc. Try to figure out how to transfer pictures to your desktop. Write about what is on your mind, your hobbies, interests etc. Anyway I note that you cover a wide variety of topics here. Take good care.

What about diabetic recipes that you like? Or about attractions in your area or your favorite things about summer?

How about what your normal day looks like. Hour to hour? Those are always fun!

I would say blog about something that really interest you is something that you have to consider then you can write more about it. I choose to have a mixed bag of thoughts on my first blog too.

I'm 60 and I sure see the world differently than my 17 year old daughter. I would like to see some posts on how you remember things and how they are differnt now. Do you remember when gas was 25 cents a gallon? What did people do before cell phones? Waited till they got home to check their answering machine. Or before that-just missed that call. Put on your thinking cap, maybe you'll bring back some memories for me

I'd like to see/hear about the stuff you have accumulated, and don't want any more, why did you get it to start with?
