6 Sun-filled Beach Destinations You Should Visit this Summer

Friday, April 26, 2013

Beach destinations are our reward for a year of hard work. When summer hits and our children are out of school, there is no better vacation plan than visiting one of these incredible beaches.

Tropical Beaches

Tropical beaches are filled with sand dunes, weeds, natural wildlife and even crabs. These beaches might feel swampy or woodsy, but they are never surrounded by large metropolitan cities. If you want to really relax and get away from it all, here are the best beaches to consider.

Fort De Soto, Florida

Boggy and charming, this park is rarely crowded and always humid. It is beautiful in a way only the Gulf Coast can be, offering weeds, brackish fish, crabs, and a view of distant Egmont Key. People travel to Fort De Soto if they are local or wise, because it's peaceful and unique.

Anna Maria Island, Florida

This fantastic island has a few quaint shops, but for the most part it's filled with endless stretches of plush white sand and gently rolling waves. Stroll through town and visit the rustic old pier (or even dine on it) before taking a swim in your own mile of Gulf Coast. Anna Maria Island might be difficult to get to, but it's worth the drive!

Key West, Florida

Lush and tropical, Key West is a favorite destination for those seeking out tropical destinations as well as those hoping to party. Key West has great museums, shops, and food. However, if you want a tranquil retreat you can find it on this serene island.

Urban Beaches

Younger crowds prefer a beach surrounded by hip nightclubs and fun shopping options. Urban beaches have bars on the sand, boat docks to rent various supplies, and lifeguards. These beaches are best for kid-free travelers.

Delray Beach, Florida

Surrounded by beautiful high-end hotels and luxury boutiques, Delray Beach still offers some reclusive charm. People like the seagrass, two-mile stretch of clear sand for jogging, and affordable vacation rentals.

Clearwater Beach, Florida

Surrounded by skyscrapers and trendy nightclubs, Clearwater Beach is lovely and large. People travel to it from all over the world because of its soft white sands and happening atmosphere. If you're a young single type looking for a memorable experience, then Clearwater is your best choice.

South Beach, Florida

Often considered the sexiest beach destination in the world, South Beach is a glittering wonderland for the rich and famous. However, you might feel out of place if you're wearing last year's shades or traveling in anything less than a current pimped-out vehicle. Visit Williamson Buick GMC Miami for tips on how to ride the roads in fashion. If you pull up next to Beyoncé this summer on the way to Miami Beach, you want to look your best!

It's just a coincidence that all of these beaches are in Florida, but it is a sign that you could find anything you're looking for in a beach destination in the state of Florida. This summer take your family somewhere peaceful and serene. Visit a beach destination and enjoy the natural beauty of the world.

I love visiting beaches. I don't even care if it is warm or cold I love the beach. I can't wait to go on vacation because we are planning a trip to FL at the end of the year.

Good advice, for some reasons, I really love beaches. They makes you feel stress free and away from a busy civilization

It's good to know there are some quiet, peaceful beaches in Florida. I have only been to Clearwater and Key West. They are beautiful, but I prefer fewer crowds and less noise when I get away to the beach. Thanks for giving me some options!

All of these happen to be in FL, but the beaches of NC are pretty awesome too. That is where we normally vacation.
